Manchester, NH – To support New Hampshire families and individuals who are food insecure (meaning they do not know where their next meal will come from), New Hampshire Magazine brought back its acclaimed Meals of Thanks program this past holiday season. Through this program, sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Northeast Delta Dental, New Hampshire Magazine worked directly with the New Hampshire Food Bank to distribute more than 1,500 nutritious meals, prepared by the New England Tap House Grille in Hooksett, to food insecure households.
“The holiday season is all about giving, and we are extremely thankful for the New Hampshire Food Bank, the New England Tap House Grille and our sponsors for helping us support those in need this winter,” Rick Broussard, editor of New Hampshire Magazine. “In a season associated with food and the comforts of home, the need for this program is an eye-opening reminder that not everyone can take those comforts for granted.”

The Meals of Thanks program was first launched in 2020 to support healthcare workers and local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since its inception, New Hampshire Magazine has helped deliver more than 6,000 nutritious meals to New Hampshire households in need.

The Meals of Thanks program is sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Northeast Delta Dental (presenting sponsors), and Cirtronics Corporation, CMH Wealth Management, Currier Museum or Art, Dartmouth Health, Hutter Construction Corporation, RiverMead Lifecare Community and Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green (supporting sponsors).
